BEYOND THE TREES

As an abstract artist, a new collection of my work usually starts by experimentation.

BEYOND THE TREES came about after a period of losing my creative mojo, and I knew I had to get back into my groove. I just needed to apply paint onto canvas, no matter what the result. After adding layer upon layer of paint in a loose vertical fashion, what emerged very slightly resembled trees. I went with it, and the first completed painting truly excited me. I could see a series happening… and that’s exactly what happened. I hope you love them as much as I do!
